first rat!!! and a question?

iv finally got my first rat!!! a black bladed rc-4 and i got the ksf sharpshooter leather sheath, I LOVE THIS KNIFE. iv got medium-small hands, its just a tad large for me, but its fine, and the leather sheath is awsome!!! i find the firesteel loop fits my slightly used army model perfectly.
iv got one question though, my sheath came all covered in grease to keep the leather from drying up. but after i put my knife in, it came out with a black oil stain on the micarta handles, i love the look of this knife, but i keep feeling that the stain ruins the appearence, if anyone knows how to get the grease out, pleaz help! thax

I'd wrap the blade in some TP and stick it back in the sheath, and repeat, til it comes back clean.

the grease is on the handle, its soaked into the micarta. not on the blade.

The waterproofing will lessen as time goes on. It will wash off the handle with dish soap and water.

Wait until you see how that sheath performs in the water, sun, etc....
