well i finally got my first rat in a trade recently and im glad i did.i got a rc-4,which is just about the perfect size for me.it came with the stock kydex sheath plus a very nice leather sheath from sharpshooter.i think im in love.:D its probably the sturdiest feeling knife ive ever held.and does it ever perform.im going to make this my main woods carry blade from here on out.now i see what all the fuss about rat knives is all about. by the way,ill be getting an izula next:cool:
 
Nice man, congrats.

I picked an RC-4 as my first too. Should be here any day! I all ready want to buy another RAT and I haven't even received my first one yet! Lol
 
Welcome to the family.

That's how I started also. RC-4, then an Izula followed closely by a RC-5 & RC-6
 
I just got my first RAT, an RC-4, last week, and absolutely love it!!!

I used it/played with that RC-4 all weekend. It is a Desert Tan, and the scales are aready pretty dark from handling it so much.

In fact, both my Father-inlaw and Dad really liked it. They are very traditional minded, so I was a little bit suprised they like it so much!

RAT makes great knifes!!
 
thanx guys,i feel priveledged.i hacked a rattlers head off with it today by the way.one tap was all it took to decapitate about a four foot long eastern diamondback as big around as my arm.i am thoroughly impressed by this knife.i look forward to getting more rats and be part of tha family.

man i wish i coulda got a pic of that rattler,i had his head pinned to a pine tree with the knife.now that wouldve made an awesome pic!
