Some of you may remember this picture of my abused work knife and how it has been sharpened by many different people over the years, Well I finally stepped up and I got a sharpening system and learning everything I can. This is my first re-profile, Its not hair popping sharp yet but I'm looking into a black Arkansas stone and a strop to get it there. Any suggestions by the experienced guys out there is warm welcomed.

Nice work! What sharpening system?

That blade isn't too far off from becoming a wharncliffe now, haha.

I'm using a KME sharpener with diomond stones, also have a double sided strop with white and black compound on the way....I hope that gets me to a mirrored edge.

Looks good! Also liked the way you cleaned up the finish on the blade and pocket clip. Can barely see the deep scratches on the clip. What did you clean/polish them with?

I Just used Ether to remove the paint on the clip and scrubbed it with a old toothbrush. Believe it or not, I tried to dye the handle royal blue with Rit dye but it didn't change anything...
