First RMD - and first Busse & Kin - on the way.

Just purchased that recently sold RMD Pumpkin on ebay. Did some research, mainly on this site and on previous ebay auctions - thought about it for about a week and pulled the trigger (blade?), this morning.

Seems - with my limited knowlege in this area - that I may have paid $20 - $30 more than the knife's worth. But it really is a moot point, as I am excited by the find - and love those pumpkins! Also found out how many variations of the "pumpkin pattern" do exist.

Great purchase. I'm not the first one to say that the RMD is as close to a "perfect blade" as can be found.

Well the G10 scales are a $30 add on from the custom shop so depending on how much you paid it might be right.

I did conduct about a week's worth of research on RMD 'kins, and one is never sure when the knife/gun/car/book... you may like will come up for sale - somewhere.

This seller has sold quite a few blades on ebay, and all buyers seem to be satisfied with their purchase, and price. And...the most important factor...I wanted this one - and at a point in my life where I can afford such things! So there ya' go. Cheers.
