Usually not a hype-boy when it comes to things, actually try to stay away from jumping on most bandwagons. But after countless reviews read/watched on the Roosevelt, following Dan for a minute to see what he was about (hard not to respect what the guy’s doing/has done), and experiencing some other knives along the way, I decided it was time to get one.

I tried on last Sunday’s drop… was sitting at my computer, logged into my account and was ready to go a few minutes before they went live. Managed to get one in my cart and before I could click “complete purchase” it was gone. Maybe 7 seconds had passed start to finish, and that was for a Plain Jane in 20cv.

I had found one on BF for a little above retail but not unreasonably so, messaged back and forth and held off (still had Christmas gifts to buy). After failing through Oz and realizing the reality, thankfully the listing on BF was still available. It just arrived. What a great EDC. Shockingly light but feels substantial. Melts into the hand. The action is . The finish is what I would’ve picked if I could have built one. Magnacut blade is crazy slicey, and its DOB is my birthday month.

For anyone on the fence, go for it.

I have one and I agree with your assessment. It’s a very nice folder.

I also agree with the problems you observed on their site and I complained about their purchase system To them. It seems to me if you get a knife in your cart, you should be allowed a reasonable period of time to complete the purchase. It’s lousy that their system seems to allow bots to pull items from your cart.

I've never handled one. There are things I like about the design and a few things I don't.

But I can sure appreciate the full height flat grind.
