Hi everyone, just finished my first atempt rehandling a sak, a victorinox recruit. It was the first knife I bought my brother, his first decent knife, thought it could use some new handles,so I carved some out of some oak I had layin around.Thought I'd share some pics.

Not perfect, but turned out better than I thought.
Thanks for looking:)

Looks nice to me. Good for you for adding the lanyard, too. Besides being a craftsman, you show good sense. :D

Thanks Dr! Now I have to make one for myself, feels much more solid with the new handles, and I hated lanyards until a few years ago,now most of my outdoor knives have some sort of lanyard.

Thanks todd! It looks better than in the pics.(cheap scanner) I should've tried to inlay the shield,,,maybe next time:D
