I finished the sheath for this thing last friday, the day before Blade (on saturday at least). That was cutting it close considering I was making it for Blade so I would have a belt knife I was proud of enough to show off (my last good belt knife got sold, so I’ve been without one for awhile).

This is my first experience with wrought iron and san-mai, as well as my first real experience with a partial tang with guard and all. So, let me know what you think, I really want some thoughts on what I might consider next time I do one like this.

Materials-

Knife -
blade - 1080 and scrap wrought chain (1" diam)
Handle - Ironwood, brass guard and peined pin (what are your thoughts on leaving a peined pin like it is, and not grinding it down? My dad thinks I ought to have ground it flush).

Sheath -
Inlay, home skinned and tanned blacksnake
vegtanned leather

(edited)- oops, forgot the specs.

oal- 7 1/2"
blade- 3 3/4"
Handle- 3 3/4"

Also, I've been recently working on my photography, let me know what you think of the different props, trying to set a good photo style
