Hi all, it's been a while since I posted anything as I hurt my hand and finally it's back to normal. The blade on this one is antiqued 1095, edge quenched. The fittings are wrought iron, copper and brass. The carved portion is deer antler. The handle wood is walnut, man this stuff stains hands when working with it lol. Overall length is 10 1/8" with a 5 5/8" blade. Anyways, hope you guys like it!

Very nice. This style was unexpected but as usual you've done a wonderful job of it.

Love it. Try to imagine the Normans with their poiniard up against the Saxons with this thing. Which of course goes to show that that a great knife does not a military victory make but in the years after the conquest, the Saxons who held on, held on to a Seax untily they were thoroughly "Europeanized" (as opposed to Scandinavian).

Love a good seax and that is one of the best I have seen.
