Got a bug for a new knife (thanks BladeForums - again) and just picked this up. New old stock and I'm
really looking forward to receiving it. The venerable 120T. Lemme know what you think and if you have
pics of 120T's post 'em up. Thanks

It's a great pattern if you need a small slender knife that 'disappears' in the pocket.

Be careful though, those Old Timer knives are addictive. :D

Picture of mine? I'm positive there's a 12OT in here somewhere.

That also was my first Schrade! I love the thing. I really like how slim it is, and overrall is my favorite pattern next to the peanut. Great knife!

Bob - WOW - Thanks for that picture.

Really can't wait for my "little" Schrade. I have always wanted one and now my wish will come true.

Stop it, Bob. Yer just showin' off. That just ain't right. :D

Great collection there, I see a few models I have, and more that I don't. As far as a 12OT, I don't have that one yet. I've seen several 'old-new-stock' U.S. Schrade 12OT's at a local hardware store's annual sale, but they still want something like $25-$30. for it - way too much IMHO.

That photo was from a display I put together a few years ago for a local Scouting museum. I have a lot more than that now. ;)

If you like the size of the 12OT, you might also be interested in the small stockman patterns that are about the same size. There's the 104OT (2-blade), 108OT (3-blade), and the 18OT (1-blade with liner lock). These were common models, so easy to find and available for reasonable prices.

Well done. A lot more, huh? Well, next time you go on a long trip, give me a call and I'll be happy to house-sit for you. Just leave the key to the knife cabinet. For, you know, like security, so I can do a daily inventory, and make sure they're all, you know, present and accounted for. Really. :D

Good info, especially for the OP too. I have several of the smaller ones, with a few of the OT patterns still to get. Those little Stockmans (108OT's) are great little cutters, small as they are.

Congrats on your new Schrade. I think you will really be happy with it... While the OT's don't have fancy bone scales, they are a very well made knife, and the blades take an incredible edge

Some do. ;)
Here's an example:

Over the years there were several different limited series of Old Timers with bone handles.

Yep... You are correct Bob.I'll be 50 next month, must have had a senior moment, just a little early. Some of the old Waldens had very nice bone scales too, but I think Charlie bought em all... lol
