Never really liked the way they looked. Don't know what happened, but one day they just struck me as very good looking knives. So, I sold a couple of knives and a watch I never wore and splashed out for a 2009 LE in box elder burl. Man, now I know what the hype is about. I have no interest in whether this was worth it or not, and I know I could get a great knife for a lot less, but this is what I wanted, so this is what I got. Beautifully made and beautiful to look at!

Great news that a great knife can get to do the work it was designed to do, as it is a beefy workhorse design, albeit a pretty and extremely well built one (and pricy, too).
