First Sebbie...

I've been thinking about getting a Sebenza for a long time. Been handling all kinds of Sebbies at the NJKCA monthly meetings and finally decided a large Sebenza is what I wanted. Then I started reading about all the styles, options, etc.. I finally settled on a large Classic, Unique Graphic. Figured I wanted a double blue thumb lug. Then the b & w raindrop damascus looked interesting. Then I figured a blue star sapphire cabochon would compliment the blue thumb lug. Looks like what I need now is a camera that can take a decent picture.

Well, after seeing those pics of a really tricked-out Sebenza, I'd feel like a low-grade if I mentioned MY first Sebbie, which came in the mail just yesterday. Actually, no I wouldn't, because even being just a plain-Jane, single thumb lug small classic, this knife is breathtaking. Like a fifteen-year-old holding his first pair of tits, I just can't stop fondling. The fit, the finish, the tolerances....it's just plain awesome. Now I see what you guys were talking about, and I still blame each and every one of you for getting me in so much trouble with my wife. As a matter of fact, I would appreciate an apology from Mr. Reeve himself as well. Something along the lines of "Remember how you used to go into knife shops and have fun looking at all those other brands? Sorry I ruined that for you."
