I recently broke down and got a large Classic Sebenza. I opened the box like a kid at Xmas and flicked out the blade, noting how smooth it opened. The knife's ergonomis were great and the entire knife seemed just the right size for regular carry. Everything said here about the knife was correct. I checked out the blade's edge and knew that it had a superior sharpness; just as everyone said here (first red light should have gone off). Like any knife knut, I started slicing old boxes and cartons. All done with ease. I picked up an egg carton off the counter and started a nice slice until the blade slipped. About one-fourth of an inch of the blade went into my hand. About 45 minutes later (when the bleeding stopped
) I noticed the cut was smooth and how I felt little pain when I stabbed myself. If anyone is thinking about getting a Sebenza, you won't be disappointed. Just be carful........those things are SHARP.
