YAHOO!

Oh man.

Okay, maybe writing this ten minutes after I picked it up from the post office was a bad choice.

Friggin' amazing knife. Got it from True North Knives. (On a side note: some of the best service in the business.) I ordered it Tuesday and it came today. I'm so stoked it's not even funny. Okay, maybe it's a little funny.

It's a Large Classic with Bocote inlays. Smooth action, rock solid lockup... Altogether an amazing knife. Can't wait to use it, but never abuse it. ;)

I'm so stoked.

(Sorry, no pictures as of now. I'll try to snag a digital camera from my girlfriend in a few days..)

Well done on picking up a nice woodie. The Bocote is a lovely finish, and the large classics are my favourite, too. Isn't the knife amazing the first time you try it ~ just so right  :D

Enjoy :)

Congrats Hamon! Sounds like a great score. Just remember it's like they say "Once you go CRK you can never go back". tf ;)

good score!

Ah, heck. This is the exact one in this picture from True North Knives.

Good call. I wouldn't mind picking up a Mnandi in the future, but I had to seriously scrounge money for this one, so that Mnandi may be in the very distant future.

This was my high school graduation present to myself... Thought I should start this new chapter in my life with something that'll last me the rest of my life.

Took it on a camping trip yesterday night and did some small tasks with it... Mostly wood cutting... Smooth and sharp. Good handle... The edge might be a little too polished for my liking... I prefer a bit of a toothier edge. In any case, it did everything I wanted it to with no complaints. The lanyard is handy and is especially nice to have around water.
