Hey everyone! It's been a while since I've posted. I've been very busy at school! I actually bought the materials and tools to build sheaths a while ago, but it's only been recently that i've actually built any.
I owe a huge thanks to Chuddy Bear for showing me the way. And Leatherman for his awesome work. And of course Jerry for making pieces of shiny metal to put in the leather.

These are built with heavy 10oz veggie tanned tooling leather from Wickett & Craig and saddle stitched by hand.

This is a GW sheath w/ a clip for inside the front pocket.

I'm definitely going to explore the relm of leather tooling and carving. This is just a trail run with the "LE" carved into the BATACLE sheath. There'll be more to come!

Thanks for looking!

Looks good man, but where's your retention strap for the BATACLE? :D It would be a shame for that one to hop out and get lost.

+1 for the retention strap. My batacle is definitely handle heavy and does a good impression of trying to invert a spec-ops sheath without the retention strap. Love the GW sheath.

WOW.. that's pretty clean work for the first time!

Nice tool work too... can't wait to see more of your sheaths.

Another +1 on a retention strap for your BATAC LE...
that would be a real bummer if you lost that beauty.

Thanks for sharing.

It seems we have another leather master here. As your first work, these sheaths are great workmanship.

Wow! That stitching is sooooo straight! You've got an excellent start. :)

Thanks for all the awesome comments guys! I appreciate it! You guys rock!

You guys are exactly right about the retention strap for the BATACLE.
I actually started building it last night. Since the knife is top heavey, the strap will keep it snug in place.

What are your thoughts on the LE carved onto the BATACLE sheath?

Nice work Gunsite...i really like LE sheath and wats that little lanyard you have on the GW...nice stuff
