I just made my very first slipjoint and since I have just spent the last hour going through this thread for more traditional patterns to try, thought I'd throw this out there as its a bit "different."

I am awe-inspired by the slippies in this thread and hope to get into some of the more traditional designs and multi-blade designs once I make a bunch more and practice.

Specs:
-Fullly-threaded construction (liners/spring/pivot) with takedown ability using a single torx driver
-15N20/5160/52100 Alabama Damascus
-Burgundy Micarta Scales
-.05 Ti Liners

This has to me the 8th time I’ve went to this thread just to drool over that knife.:thumbup:

I really the ergonomics in the handle of this knife, and to see it was also a damascus blade was a another nicety!

Hey thanks everyone for the kind words!

This was quite a litle experiment and the knife will happily live in my pocket seeing daily use!

The folder bug has really bitten me now and im working on two others. I hope to have one done by tomorrow. Once I get a few under my belt, I'll need to really research traditional patterns.

Have always wanted to make folders but I was too much of a wuss to sit down and try...so it tickles me pink to be carrying one around after all these years.
