First Slippy "Feeliks"

Hello all,

I finished my first slippy (N°1 of 2).
Blade and spring are RWL34.
Scales are mammoth with nickelsilver pins.
Bladelength is 68mm, closed 86mm, full length 152mm.
Blade is handfiled and hardened to 60HRC.

wow that came out very nice.congrats.be sure to post up the second one when finished.is this your first knife or first slippie?
 
That looks good. Solid work. The handle material was a good choice.

The nail nick isn't working for me though. I think a more robust and centered nick would fit with this knife better.

The nicks are not easy to get right.
Did a great job on the knife, they are not an easy knife to make.
I'm sure they will even get better, if this what his first looks like?:)

it is my first slippie, but I did in knifemaking (as a hobby) for several years.
I did the peening with a ballhammer for the first time and it work's well for me :)
I just made 10 Backlocks and 80 Hunters and Nordic knives.

I know that with the nailnick, but I didn't found the right tool. I did it with the disk in a Dremel :-(

Here is N°2. I made them in a bundle.
It is fittet with stabilized Giraffebones und Waterbuffalo
