I met up forum member Satsumatengu today and took our first hike of the year on the wet white stuff !

Wish i was up there also,good to see Maisy and Snickers covered,looks like you have some wild weather happening in your area today.
 
I love the snow. We haven't had much this year, but already more than all of last winter. Thanks for sharing the pics with us Pit.
 
Hey guys, thanks for the compliments on the shirt. Just got it in December from my wife and I love it as well. Like Pit was saying Swannies are great for keeping the water out because the wool is woven so tightly. Even when the weather is at freezing all I need on is that shirt and a T-shirt under it and I am good, not cold at all when I hike. If I was just sitting around camp it may get too cool so a nice outback vest maybe in the works I hope anyway, LOL. (cleaverly placed in case my wife happens to read this.)
 
Was not expecting to see somewhere so close to home. Great pics. Sure cold on the island today. Holy crow.
 
nice! i wish we'd get snow here soon...it's been an unusually warm winter again! it's now raining and highs in the 40's this week again :(
