First Sog

Hello all-

I Recieved a SOG Flash 2 for Christmas, and I have to say I am really happy with it. It is quite a nice looking knife, black handle, drop point blade, and plane edge, very sharp I might add. In fact the only knives I have that are sharper from the maker would be my Puukos. I was wondering if anyone had any reviews of this knife, or just any comments. I would also like to know how SOG customer service is, in case I ever need to use it. Thanks for any help or info on my new knife anyone could give me.

I have been carrying my Flash II for several months now and it has become my EDC. I have carried it jogging, going up and down a tree stand, and general mucking about in the woods as well as every day at work. I like the low carry clip and for a larger knife, it carries like a small one. The easy opening feature is nice and can get it out and into action with little effort. I had to use SOG'S customer service once when I broke a small tip of an autoclip and had to send it back. Great turn around time and no problems there (plus it was free of charge even though the damage was my fault). You can probably tell by now that I really like this knife and hope you enjoy yours as well. Pistolpete

the flash series are fun to play with and really cool knives, however, i like to carry the vision series knives(i have both).

Congrats RSRRhino. Don't be afraid to use your new Flash II. SOG knives want to be used. Not to mention, that SOG makes great products and has great costomer service. Ron is one of the best. He has taken care of me before with a problem or two and went out of his way to help. It's really nice to talk with him. Happy New Year!

That is how I came aboard. A long time ago, I had an unusual concern with a SOG Trident I bought on E-Bay. Ron helped me out, and we started talking - the rest is history!

I love the knives, and the service is great! Ron is among the best (and the hardest working!)

Don't tell him I said that, it'll go straight to his head...
