Buying knives of different models with same scales only hides it for a short time- they catch on quickly! I have blades all over the place, so another one doesn’t really stand out too much

Dang it , my PM 2 cruwear came with scales very different in color than that frustrating as I wanted it that shade . I know micarta darkens but mine are more like burnt orange , if was to go to a car dealership and choose the burnt orange paint it would be a cheaper vehicle than any other color . Still a great knife enjoy !!

It's a natural material, color variation is expected. I remember ordering a Burgundy color Micarta scale for my XM-18, it looked almost pink when it was new. Didn't become burgundy till I carried it for a bit. Camo G10 scales are kind of a similar case, the pattern is random, and chances are you won't be getting the same knife as in the picture, but each knife having a unique pattern kinda gives it charm. My first PM2 has sort of a "finger pistol" on it, and I love it.
