Hello Everyone, I'm new to Spyderco

I just bought my first Spyderco, the Centofante 3. I like everything about it accept that it has no hole at the end of the handle to attach a keychain loop or something similar. I'm planning on attaching it to my fly vest when i'm fishing and wanted to put a key chain loop on it with a carbiner for quick access. Any suggestions on a better way or are there any accessories out there that will give me the result i'm looking for? I'm just not confident in using the clip while walking through the brushes...

Thank you in advance!

As long as that clip is nice and tight you should be fine IMO (not saying you wont lose it since anything can happen)
I dont own one of those , dont know the specs ... if you could drill your own lanyard hole you'd be set otherwise , perhaps consider carrying something more "disposable" when fishing.

Thanks for your response. I may look into drilling. Its such a beautifully made knife, i have to use it when i can!

Unless you're wearing chest waders, I'd just leave it clipped to your pants pocket.

I wouldn't clip a nice/expensive folder to my vest, since it's really easy to lose vest-clipped items when you're bulldozing through thick stream-side brush.

For chest waders, consider a really light weight inexpensive folder, such as a BuckLight, and suspend it on a neck lanyard to hang just inside your waders.

Hope this helps!

I think it should hold on, but if you really wanted to get a lanyard hole, I bet STR could do it.
