First Spyderco! I love my manix!

I just got my first spyderco, a manix. Man i'm hooked. I'll never look back to Benchmade or Kershaw again. I don't even know how those two brands can compete with the Manix. Definatly feels more on par with something from Strider or CRK!

The g10 is top notch, feels great in hand, etc. The only thing is, for some reason I can't screw in the clip for right handed tip up carry.... It screws in everywhere else...maybe i'm just incompetent.

Anyways, I highly recommend this knife. It puts knives from Benchmade and everything else to shame, and for a very reasonable price. Great job Spyderco!
 
I thought they were kind of ugly from the pictures I'd seen but after seeing a friends this weekend I quickly decided that this would be my next Spyderco purchase.

I'm a full flat grind fan for life.
 
I signed up for the Manix passaround, just got it earlier today. I must say, it is awesome. Glad you like it too!
 
It is a LOT of knife for the dollar. It is a little big for my dress (work) clothes, but it is a great weekend and outdoors EDC.

i have it too............it is massive and awesome

i wish they would use g10 on the delica or calypso jr!!
 
i definitely think that the manix absolutely destroys any other production knife when all of the elements of value are compared.

this knife has everything i need/want in a large user. as good as BM is, i definitely favor the manix over any of BM's large folders. no contest.

congrats on your new knife, give spyderco's customer service dept a call (i don't have the #, but it's on their website) & ask for mikey in the production dept. he was really helpful.
