I have an older stainless handled Delica that got the tip broken off years ago
Got into Case traditionals, then Benchmades for a while

Perusing the pawn shops today and found an older Endura still in the blister pack dated 2002
Vg10 steel

$21 !!!

Hopefully wont be another 15 years for my 3rd one

Nice find pawn shops here are full of shit and are sad evidence of somebody's misfortune .
Not in the case of finding new old stock spyderco though .

Nice find! Looks to be a 2004 year of build, definitely a Gen 3 handle. I like those a lot.

Hi ElKabong,

Nice find.

Did you purchase the Endura because it was a good price? Or did you purchase the design to check out what Spyderco is doing?

If your interest in the "What is Spyderco doing?", I would suggest a new Endura with a full flat grind. The model you have is what we call the "'98" refinement. What we are doing now in Endura's is quite different. We use that model for our Salt line, albeit a slightly different blade.

Little of both I guess
Will definitely look into some newer models
I've been on the Axis lock kick for a long time
Guess i will have to read up on FFG sharpening on my Wicked Edge

The Endura FFG 4 changed my opinion on a fair few things its that good of a knife , refined cutting performance when you need Sharp and thin .
Quality the frn always put me off until I tried the matriach 2 and this its got plenty grip .

Awesome find! The sharpend above me is tottally right: I'd highly advise you pick up a new Endura 4. Top-notch quality at an affordable price.

Sweet find. I've still got a couple Delicas of that vintage. I kinda decided today to get rid of them and make the move into all 4th Gen versions.

Unless Sal says they're coming back out with G-10 Delicas. Then I might hold off a bit.

Hi Emzimmerman,

Welcome to our forum.

There's some discussion on another forum about a sprint run of G-10 Endura's or Delica's. No decisions yet.
