Received my first Spyderco knife today it was a light weight Native with plain edge, with I believe a s30v blade.

OK now I am hooked, based on the fact that I like the style and length and look of the Native, what one should I buy next.

Here in CO we have to keep the blade at or below 3.5", other than that no restrictions. (Other than auto)

You might want to take a look at the Native III...I received one in a trade a few days ago, and I really like it.

You can't go wrong with a Delica. Great knife and it would be a perfect size given your parameters.

A FRN Delica in VG-10 with your choice of sharpener. I placed an order for the Sharpmaker 204MF today so it should be here soon.

John F Jensen still has some shell inlay G10 Natives.

I briefly had a micarta Calypso Jr. back in the day, returned it due to poor fit and finish, but sometimes wish I'd kept it anyway. You can still find the FRN version with VG10 blade for $40-50 online. I'd like to see that model revived.

My second Spyderco came in the mail today, and I also am hooked. Got a Gunting Trainer to see if it would appeal to me. It does, seems very practical, nice opening options, very well constructed. Will get a live blade soon. Thanks to Sal and Co. for so much good stuff to choose from.

I've got a Native III and its a great little knife. Now you need a Military in S30V steel, plain egde!
