The Zero Tolerance 0350 is the only high-end knife I currently own. I want to get a Spyderco as I have heard very good things about them. The ZT is just about perfect for me in size, so please keep that in mind. Other than that one qualification, I am open to any suggestions.

I would say the manix 2 cause its a great value. Are you stuck on a spyderco cause if not the buck vantage pro is an amazing value for about 70 bucks you can get a s30v blade with a nice g10 handle on it.

Yes, the 0350 covers everything I need, so now I am getting into the collection side (I still plan to carry it, it will rotate with the ZT), so I want to go with a Spydie first.

Check out the Superleaf if you want something similar in size and tough construction. The Paramilitary 2, on the other hand, would be a great complement to your 350.

The ZT is a tank so if staying with that theme is your desire you'll probably need to look at beefy, near 4" blade Spydies. Gayle Bradley, Manix 2 large, Military & maybe a Sage. Most Spydies of late are full flat grind due to popularity so not a crowbar. If you want to dig a round you can find some older models that might be a bit beefier. Someone else can list a few..

Gayle Bradley, PM2, Military, Manix 2 would be my choices. I own all of them and they are great.

If you like the size of the 0350 but would like something lighter and spectacular in the hand the choice is simple, paramilitary 2. If you want more heft the manix 2 is good as well. Personally I just picked up a para 2 and I have a feeling its going to make itself my favorite knife very quickly. You definitely wouldn't be disappointed with a para 2, it's kinda spyderco's bread and butter, everything about it just screams spyderco.

Since you already have 'big 'n beefy' covered with your ZT, why not try something 'sleek 'n slender' from Spyderco? Check out the Delica 4 or Centofante 3... wicked slicers!

Or to enhance your cutting capabilities, perhaps something fully-serrated like the Endura 4... pocket chainsaw!

Of course, with Spyderco, there's all kinds of options! Good luck, Noreat! :)

Sorry for the long delay, no internet for the past few weeks! timberweasel: yes, that was what I was thinking. A nice slicer to compliment the ZT I already have. You also have a very nice collection!

I'm thinking maybe a Delica or Endura FFG, although I am salivating over the Para-Military and Military. If I was to get one of the more expensive ones, it would probably the PM 2.

If I had to get rid of all my Spydercos but one, it would honestly come down to either the Para-2, or the Native 5.

based on what you said, for me it would come down to either the para2, military or gayle bradley.

p.s. the gayle bradley has the better steel out of those three models i listed, but CPM-M4 isn't stainless (i don't know if that matters to you).

I bought the 350 and para2 the same day and they are both my favorites of my collection for different reasons. The ZT is a tank and the para2 is sleek and light. I love the compression lock. Your fingers are not in the way when you close it and you can roll out the blade with your thumb and use your pointer finger to pull the lock back for total silent opening (I love that!), very tactical. Plus the Para2 carry's a little better, lighter and not as bulky. Not long after I got the sage1, smooth as glass great ergos and the smoothest liner lock I own. A little smaller but an awesome edc. Next on the list for me is a GB and a Manix2 flat ground sprint. As far as Spyderco's go. Also looking to get more ZT's.

I would second this!

To me Spyderco means "serrated edge that is unstopable". IMO, a first Spyderco is either an Endura or Delica with serrations. Then six months later it won't matter cause you will own 10 different ones in different colors and sizes!

Some knives can punch holes in car doors. Spyderco serrations will cut the door in half!

The PM 2 is a great knife, but do I really want to spend $100 on a knife agian? Probably not, which leaves me with the Delica or Endura. Of course, if I see another picture of the PM 2 I might not be able to resist.:)
