Ok guys I know this has been discussed a million times but I just need to give my feed back.. I have alwYs been a firm believer in Plain edge knives, and avoided all serrations but a few weeks ago I picked up a delica 4 in full spyderedge and WOW!!!!! this thing has been in my pocket since and is still as sharp as the dAy I got it .. It shaves, slices paper just as good as as PE and as far as edc use on the construction site it's just amazing. It just won't dull and keeps cutting!!! And takes the abuse that would cause my s30v and D2 plain edges to need sharpening in a day or 2!!! anyways very impressed with it's cutting(not tearing) abilities and with spydercos vg10.. Think I
a new fan of the spyderedge!!!!

Thanks for the review :) Every day I'm tempted to get a full SE Stretch FRN. I'm sure it will happen eventually.

I am extremely impressed with my SE Endura 4 Wave (it now has a Tom Krein FFG, but was equally impressive before). It has shallow serrations that don't snag and cut smoothly, was hair whittling sharp from the factory (and easy to get really sharp again on the Sharpmaker), and it makes the edge retention WAY better than a PE knife in VG-10. I still love and prefer my PE knives, but there is definately a place for the Spyderedge.

I like the spyderedge knives and I have to say my favorite is the new frn stretch. It's a great knife no matter the edge really, I bought one of each edge configuration cause I liked it so much. Great job on that one Sal:thumbup::thumbup:

Haha! If you like that, you should try a SE in ZDP!

You shaved with a serrated knife.

My serrated E4 would tree top hairs, if I absolutely had to I could shave with it.

I think I'll stick to the razor though.

I don't think the Sebenzas come like that. :p

Congrats on your first full SE knife. It's an eye opener.

I avoided serrated knives like many people for fear of sharpening them, then I bought a few Spydies on purpose with serrations and was determined to be able to use and sharpen them. They are great! All three of my serrated Spydies shave paper just as well as my well sharpened plain edge knives after a few swipes on the Sharpmaker, and they were all used when I bought them, so didn't come to me sharp, but they really are not hard to touch up if they haven't gotten butter-knife dull. I have a set of Pro File stones coming just to see if I can get them even sharper than factory, but I'm very happy so far. Enjoy your Spyderedge Softrock. :D

my first SE knife was the cricket and became a fan ever since. i don't buy SE often though, but snagged a SE dodo and that is pretty wicked, too.

I've hated serrations for as long as I can remember. I didn't own any Spydercos, so I figured I take a chance on a couple: A generation 2 Endura and a Stainless handled Native. I love both of them, and I just got a Generation 4 Endura today. Both Enduras fully serrated, the Native partially. These are now in my permanent EDC rotation.

Spyderco has won me over on their serrated edges.

thx - cpr

I understand the...epiphany. Had mine a few weeks ago.

My full-serrated Tenacious is THE knife of carry since then. Even though the new Para is smoother with the opening being pure sweetness and overall it feels like its a better knife...

...the SE is just awesome for my every day chores.

Love my Endura in ZDP! Got it as a gift from the Spyderco Factory Outlet with a different purchase. First SE knife and now I'm a firm believer. Used it for a picnic recently and it turned out to be the perfect knife for slicing bread and opening food containers.
