First STRIDER & Mantrack questions

I was blessed to receive my first STRIDER, a BT with the black para cord.

I saw the "Mantrack" in American Handgunner, but I didn't see it on Strider's website? Duane or Mick (or anyone else for that matter) tell me about this knife please.

Bt and Mantrack just happen to to my favorite too. As far as I know Mantrack is availble in Japan only(maybe also for navy seal guys) It's actually called MT-L in US which is a larger version of a MT, about 13" OAl. In Japan it's sold for $2,000 while in US about $400. I recently got a japanese book "COMBAT KNIFE" where striders are featured.There are quite a few cool pics of Mantrack of different finish.

Damn Kumdo, those pics are incredible!! I want that entire kit!!! If anyone has it, I will trade everything, but my son for it!

ERICLEW, Why is it only available in Japan? So the MT-L is the same thing? Will STRIDER make it in the same configurations (black, tiger, OD, tan)?

I am so hooked on these knives!

As I take it, the japanese guys are always so good at commercial promotions. They know very well what is going to be big on local marcket.Personally I would do the same thing:
as the sole dealer in Japan, to have their STRIDERS built in a diffrent way, to make it more collectable, so as to make it worth more
money. And they turned out to be successful.

As I know, MT-L is the same thing as Mantrack
except the the name on the knife.I personally
prefer Mantrack, but considering the price I think I'll take a MT-L. I think you can order one from STRIDER.E-mail them.

receive any order of od an tan from 2001.3.27 on.
