Got mine today as well. Is yours not sharp either? Mine won't shave and really doesn't feel that sharp.

I was surprised on the thickness of the blade. It is very stout and I doubt that you could break it with just your arm pressure. Other than the edge not being as sharp as I have come to expect on new knives, I found the handle wrap very nice. Time will tell how well it holds up. The blade looks like it has a convex edge so putting a shaving edge shouldn't be a problem.
The skull crusher pommel does have some sharp edges and will probably take a few swipes with a file or sandpaper to tone down the edges.
The sheath holds the blade securely as delivered. Again, time will tell if it stays secure. You can set the sheath up for vertical or horizontal carry which is the way my son, who the knife is for, is setting it up.
Overall, seems to be well worth the price I paid for it here at 1SKS.
