First Strike

I'm sure you've all been there, or will be there someday. The "Bad Guy" aproaches, there's no escape, it hasn't started yet, and the best way out is for you to start it first. What's your favored "First Strike"?
I prefer a "Muy Thai" kick to the BG's thigh, followed up with straight blasts to his center line, looking for a finishing shot.
Sound off...I'm sure there lots of variation out there.

Stomp kick to knee/shin, followed by multiple straight punches and rear crosses. Or if I am inclined to be really nasty, toe kick to the groin followed with a finger jab.

I go for the knees too : usually a lateral low stopkick.From there on,it varies!

Unarmed: Kick to the knee, knee to the groin, open hand chin chab (Fairbairn style

)
Armed: Cut or stab to the attacking limb, or a powerful hit to the head (blunt weapon).
