Some of you might have read my other thread about my first leaf spring knife failing. To sum it up - after i quenched it I let it cool down then started messing with it and hit it off ny vice and it snapped in half. I don't have another leaf spring yet for my second attempt ( trying to make an iron mistress Bowie) but I reallywantef to try again today so i found an old USA Nicholson file put it in my forge and made what i think is a pretty nice blade for my first try. I really enjoyed doing it! I think i can finish it tomorrow. Here's where it at after 5 hours.
