First sucessful Hamon

This is my first successful Hamon. Its not super wild, but its there, and in the right place for once.

Steel is 1084, Cocobolo handle, red liners and brass pins. Hadnt used brass for pins in a long while, forgot how easy they are to finish compared to the stainless.

I think that looks nice. What was your HT recipe and what did you use to coat the blade, if you don't mind sharing?
 
thanks mr bad example.

blade was clay coated, heated to non magnetic and quenched in oil.
