Hey all, I am new to the forum and new to knifehood and I just broke in with my first -- the urban camo rw.
sorry, my newbie excitement compelled me to post!

O.P., Welcome to the Swamp!!! You say you're "new to knifehood". I must say you've started at the top. ;) :D Remember to beat the snot out of that RW so it knows you love it. Y'know.... that "tough love" that Rat knives thrive on.

Is this the same Old Painless with the "Box O' Truth"? If so, you need to devise a similar method for testing these blades.

also, thanx rokjok for the link to the tips. I will check it out. I am not too handy with the camera but would love to learn some trix. :cool:

I was able to get some better focus on a couple of different shots. here's two examples:

I don't know anything about photography, but I find that no flash and flourescent lighting is better than candescent. also, I have to prop the camera up or against something and sometimes I get into ridiculous positions or use random and cumbersome objects to prop -- so i need a tripod!
 
Great choice on a first Rat:D You'll love it. You're pics make waiting for mine even more frustrating.
 
I'm still waiting for my first rats. They should be in the mail any day now. At this rate, though, I have the feeling I'm going to have my custom HR sheath before I actually get the HR. Dwayne is cooking up a black IWB for me.
