Just got two ratmandus I'd ordered a while back, a black paper on black and a desert sage on tan micarta. There are my first from the swamp ever.. Gotta say.. WOW! I've seen the pics from others, read the reviews and felt quite confident in ordering two. Why two? Because two, that's why lol. I'm extremely impressed with fit and finish. Balance is great for me and the ergonomics are on point especially for my medium sized hands. And to boot, they both came equally hair popping sharp. Thanks to David for that. Edge geometry on these are past my expectations and very well done.

I can safely say I'll end up with more from the swamp

I recently picked up my first Swamp Rat a Infidu, it is all sorts of perfect!

I'll second that statement.
I started with RMD, 3 years later there were some 30 rats in the house... Plus 'some' hogs & dogs... And that was about 1.5-2 years ago...

This is the picture that did me in...

The RMD is a fantastic knife. This is mine right before 2 weeks in the field for Stryker Gunnery. I hacked a lot of dead wood to pass the time and loved it!

Black and Tan G10, the same as the one to it's right, it is just not catching the light the same as the other blade. This is the difficulty in trying to expose so many different colours in one pic (hence why the satin blades are so over exposed they look white).

RMD is the gateway drug of Bussekin. Well, at least it was for me. And the odd thing is, even after having a bunch in order, I have this urge to go back and get one more... a RMD.
 
Congrats OP! I got my first Rat straight from the Swamp yesterday. As it happens I spotted an LE on the exchange a few days after I placed the order and had to have that as well. It made the wait for the CG much more bearable, lol :)

Wow there is a lot of ratmandu love here :)

The bug has bitten with Swamp Rat and Busse.. My wallet does not appreciate this..
