So there's an closeout store near by. You'll never know what they'll have.

This afternoon I stopped in to see what treasures I might find.

I ask the guy behind the counter if they ever get any pocket knives. He said they had a few.

He showed me some dollar store knives.

Then he reached in the back and pulled out this box.

I took it out and inspected it.

Here's the best part.

So this is my first Spyderco. I like how light and thin it is. I'm going to carry it for a few days and see how it performs.

I think I got a pretty good deal.

Nice find. I have yet to try the Spyderco's but that is a deal you just can't pass up!

I have that very model in my pocket as I reply. It is great, takes a wicked edge, works hard and stays sharp, and with frequent trips to the SharpMaker, it is always ready. Carries well for as big of a knife as it is. You will like it. I stripped the paint off of the clip and I like that look a lot better. Those clips are painted and they will chip. The steel underneath is gray and looks nice.

Nice.

The gray scales is what attracted me to it. I may strip my clip too. I think that would look better.

Had it been black I might have passed.

I have few Spyderco, Endura is not on my wish - but if I did get one that is one. I couldn't have passed that up. You have story on how it became yours, congrads and enjoy.

Took your advice and spent the morning stripping and polishing my clip.

I really like that much, much better. Thanks for the tip!

You better be on the look out, cause you stole that thing IMO. Kidding aside you made a very good purchase and the FFG Endura is a heck of a knife and should give you years of service with proper care. I'm not gonna lie the gray FRN isn't my favorite, but still for 30 dollars you can't complain too much.

I love mine. Purple, however, is the way I roll. That's a steal @ about half price and VG-10 steel to boot. I just drop mine in my RR pocket.

Nice find! That's a fantastic price.

I've got the matching Delica, and I've been thinking about stripping the clip too... nice to see how well it turned out!
