First Tapered Tang

I finished my first tapered tang this week along with a few others. It turned out being my best knife so far.

1/8" Kelly Cupples 1080, 4 1/4" blade, 8 1/2" overall, tapered tang down to 1/16" at the butt, olive canvas micarta with stainless steel pins and blaze orange g10 liners...

I hadn't noticed it until uploading the photos, but the discoloration towards the tip of the knife is just where the sheath has rubbed the oil off the blade. Sorry.

I also had the pleasure of sitting down with Steve Culver today at a local shop tour. He was kind enough to give me a constructive critique on a couple of my latest knives and give me a bit of direction on how to improve. Thank you very much Steve.
