First taste of INFI + my wife rocks!

I own a few Swamprats, but never any Busse's. Well my birthday was yesterday, and my wife had me thinking I was getting a nice wrist watch, but when I opend up her gift I realized it was a knife in a sheath....!

Before I even took the knife all the way out I could see the tell tale Busse choil! :D Seems she was paying attention when I comented on how nice busse knives were when I saw a few featured in the movie "Faster".

Take a look at what she picked out for me....

A Custom Shop BOSS Street with dyed girrafe bone scales, mozaic pins, and a sheath...

...Not exactly what I would have picked out for myself, but I'll take it! :) She said she realy wanted to get me a SAR 6 (which I would have loved) but she got out bid for it at the last minute on ebay when she was away from the computer.

Anyway, this is a nice little knife with excellent fit and finish. I know it may be blasphemy to mess with a collectors knife like this, but I will likely mod it some with some filework, and reshaping of the handle scales to make it more to my liking, since I will be keeping this thing for a LONG time!

Can't wait to put it to use! :D

Congrats are in order Brother, one for your Birthday and the other for having enough since to marry a WONDERFUL women like that!!! Now that is a great story and all the best to you and yours... When the wife pays attention to you like that, she is definitely a keeper. Sweeeet BS to Bro!!!

Thanks guys! I always wanted to try out some INFI, but always had trouble justifying the money to myself. But as long as the wife picks it out with her blessing, it's guilt free!

...Now I'm just afraid it'll lead to more Busse goodness, which equals more $$$! :o

Steel obsesion is a sickness isn't it?! haha....
 
That's awesome BryFry, congrats man! The wife got me a Junglas on father's day! Seems like they would get along... :D

Coolest chick ever! Sweet knife too, I really like the bone handles. You're a lucky one!

Odd fact: Giraffe is considered kosher but one has never been slaughtered because they are unsure about where on the neck to make the cut.

The sheath, that's my mark, but. Some odd stuff going on there that I don't remember. If you ever have any issues with that sheath please, PLEASE let me know. I'd love to get this one in my hands and see what was done. Its an old mark, so no telling. The mark way, and I mean WAY pre dates the BOSS Street. Might have been made for a Tanker A or similar sized knife.

Hey thanks! That's good to know!

I like the sheath alot, really like the clip on the back. But I did think it was kinda odd that the knife was an unused safe queen, and the sheath has obviously seen some use.

It fits pretty well though, not perfect but good enough for me. I like it!
 
Women like that are so cool. Wish more realized all they need to do is buy the right "man toys". You should marry her lol
