First time Becker Owner and new to site.

Just figured I would introduce myself. I am from Alabama and first time Becker owner. I picked up a BK2 to carry in when I am off-roading and camping. After reading on the forums I took the plunge and immediately stripped the finish off of it and gave it a couple layers of vinegar patina and a little spine filing. I am going to attempt to make a set of micarta scales and also a set of wood scales. Here's where I am at so far.

BK fit my need for a HEAVY 5" shorter than 6" knife, the no thumb ramp and solid pummel for thumpin and whumpin was the deciding factor, seeing the Esse 5 looked almost good but the pommel didn't look right for my needs and the price...Becker and Ka-bar seemed like a better option for a working knife. Yes I got Micarta for it...and its backup...yes I got one similar, the BK22 (Its a BK 2 with a nylon sheath :D) and got the 22 sheath for the first one. Then I got the 4, then the 9, then another 9 and some how accidently another 9... I don't like the thumb ramp but given its length and its main job for whoppen and choppen yet it can do smaller things sort of okishly, the 9 is almost a good multi-tool as the 4 is. The 5 I got, don't like it but got it has no thumb ramp and a few things others pointed out to me what it would be good for. One sister already tried to snatch it....
