Hi
I got an etcher of Ron Claiborne, and got some sample stencils
form IMG,I found Rons machine very fast and etched very deep and
crisp. The stencils that IMG sent me were purple, and they etched very well, very clean sharp edges.I spoke with IMG about making me some stenciles and they were very happy to help me out,I have herd stories about marking methods,So I shyed away from them.If you need a very good etcher contact Ron,he is a heck of a nice guy and stand behind
his work;)

I got my machine & stencils from IMG. A first class outfit that does everything they can to help.

You are doing some nice looking work,I checked out your web page.
I really like your droppoint fighter.

I also just received an etching machine from Mr. Claiborne, and produced a perfect etch the very first time. I ordered my custom stencils from Marking Methods and got exactly what I asked for very quickly. (Green film, and phone instructions on use and maintenance of the stencils.) Have to say I am happy with both. :)

Glade to hear you got the green,I hope you get the green the next time your order?;) Don't they have a minium order?

I made the power supply listed on Bob Warners site http://www.warnerknives.com/electro.htm and am in the process of making the handle unit. My uncle in law has a T-shirt silk screening business and he is helping me with a logo and we are going to use the photo resist that he uses to make his silk screens and see how it works. My question is, does anyone know what size the screens are (squares per inch) that your stencils are made of? He typicaly uses 150-300 squares per inch but can get upto or over 600. I'll keep you guys informed on how this little experament goes. Who knows, we might all have instant local suppliers for stencals. :D
