First time getting Gold Membership

I'm not rushing anyone nor am I being impatient but I just ordered a Gold membership about 2 days ago and I just have a few questions. I understand that the membership has to be activated manually and I'm sure Spark/the mods have lots of other stuff to deal with day to day and it will take some time to get to me. However I'm just wondering how long it generally takes to activate the membership and how I'll know that it's been activated.

If you paid through PayPal, Spark has to enter it manually. Takes a couple of days.

Go to Paid subscriptions at http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/payments.php
See if there is a Gold member option when you try to change your usergroup. If so, click it. If not, try again later.
