First time hanging an axe head.

I'm trying to hang a boys axe head that I've been working on. Do I have it far enough down on the shoulder of the handle? Anyone with a picture of a properly hung boys axe?

In general I like to get the axe head down to within about 1/2" of the widest point (shoulder) of the haft.
 
Yep - what SP said. Less than 1/2" of the shoulder and if the back point of it sticks out too much, I might even rasp it down to be more flush with the eye. It's really not as critical with a full sized axe, but with a boy's axe or smaller, a smaller shoulder means you can choke up closer to the head.

I didn't hang either of these, but they're my only boy's axes and are were pretty well done from the factory:
