Hello everyone!

Case has abundent of various handle materials and series based on them. I got quite few Case knives but most are models from various handle types. However I have three Amber bone Case:

Small Texas Jack CV
Canoe CV
Peanut SS

Reason is that I did favor CV over Tru-Sharp and Amber bone was the few that offered CV. However I've made peace with Tru-Sharp and won't disregard knife based on it. Lately I've caught a slight fever of getting a certain series from Case:

The Dark Molasses. There's something in that that keeps me eyeing them and draws them to me. Thanks to Tlarbb I've managed to Secure Dark Molasses Barlow and will hopefully secure 3 7/8" Stockman. I found supply nativelly for Dark Molasses Mini-Copperlock.

Based on Tlarbb and his check up for Dark Molasses seems to be quite nice for one sample. I hope the Stockman and Mini-Copperlock turn out as good quality.

This is first time I've ever been drawn into Case knife series based on bone on the handle and not blade material. It is my luck that Case Dark Molasses series doesn't have many patterns or I'd be in deep problems :P

After Getting 3 7/8" Stockman, Barlow and Mini-Copperlock for the series. I need to start hunt the trapper and Humpback Half Whittler of the series.

And Ed, if you're reading this as I am sure you will sometimes: Thank you. I owe you big time.

No problem to get the others when you can afford to purchase. I am sure you will like them. If the Barlow is any indication, then the rest of the series will be very nice as well. Case uses Tru-sharp on a lot more knives than the CV. And they've been doing so for many years now. If it wasn't what the knife buying public wanted or wasn't decent knife steel, we wouldn't be buying Case knives now.
