First time in 6 years that i've called in to work

this is a little off topic, but i feel like crap this morning so cut me some slack

for the last 6 years (since college) i have never once called in to work but this morning i woke up with a NASTY fever. It's actually high enough that i'm dizzy, so i don't want to drive in the crazy austin traffic.

Guess i'll spend my day trolling around the forums...

On the plus side, that means i'll be here this afternoon when my Azwelke sheath for my gladius shows up

thanks to everyone for the kind wishes. I'm pretty sure it's just a cold, but it's a nasty one.
 
There is a nasty summer time cold going around.I had it for near 3 weeks,worst of it was the second week.I was just getting over it at the blade show.Still took 3 days after the show for me to feel completely well.
Hope yours gets over faster.
 
Just spend the day on 6th and Congress......or at Hoovers......or at Kruez in Buda........or Bucca Di Beppo......Amy's......or Freebirds...............

So you're the culprit. :p A bunch of the Busse crew went home after Blade with a nasty cold, IIRC.
 
Hope not,it was done just a bit of a cough left but I think that was allergies as that just started back up as I got to Atlanta and stopped when I got home.
Not sure it was a cold,I have allergies a couple times each spring when something starts blooming,it was strange it lasted so long this time.Most years it only lasts about a week.
 
Get well Brother!!! Man I remember the pollen down there growing up in Austin area.
