First time out with new gear.

First time out this year,trying out some new gear.
Just a relaxing time in the woods.
First fire with a firesteel, I like bics.
BK2 with micarta.
Trying out Coldsteel Kukri machete.

Great pics! What did you think of the Cold Steel Kukri? I went camping myself this weekend; and brought my Cold Steel heavy machete for it's first time camping. I discovered it's nice having a $15 tool along for all the things I'd hate to do with my knives, like chopping an old root from under the tent, poking the fire etc. I don't think I'll be camping without one from now on! In fact, I kinda want another one.......

Love the CS Kukri. I have beat the crap out of mine and it just pleads for more! (Man, that label is a beech to get off, isn't it)

Balding Eagle- a razor blade and a little cheap gasoline will take that sticker (or any other, for that matter) right off
and I love my CS kukri machete too! shes a keeper!

I have the CS Magnum Kukri. Cheap. Effective. And I agree with BaldingEagle. That sticker is basically forged into the steel.
