iirc that is the Clip Point Jungle Camo Badger Attack 3. I cant tell you worth as the rules say only paid members can ask such things. But I can tell you its a much sought after knife for sure. The BA3 in all its incarnations is one of my favorites.

Congrats on a fantastic score!

Clip Point Jungle Camo Badger Attack 3- I`ll second that, Awesome knife- Congrats

Welcome to BladeForums! and welcome to the Busse forum.

You will be hit up with offers for that knife. Do not rush to sell, take your time. Look around BladeForums, and consider if it's worth stepping up to a Gold Level membership, then you can ask about value and openly sell here.

Looks like black canvas micarta. 8 years doesn't sound wrong, but someone of uber HOGness can answer better than me.

Thanks guys. I guess I don't know what I have. There are so many models its hard to find info on.
I sold a Sandown forge and found this.

I'm thinking it could be closer to 10 years old, but 8 could be right as well.

Welcome.....Very nice score and fortunate to find in such great condition....Black Canvas handles for sure closer to 10 years old...but there have been some
surprises come out of the shop "Secret Stashes" rainy day surprises....Guy gave some good information on determining what you have and assessing its true value,,,

Ah yea, I remember the JABA and DABA releases. I got a DABA (Desert)

The one pictured above isnt a JABA, its from another release that had a clip point , unsharpened, and were approx .20 thick. One jungle camo like that and one Desert coated. I still have one of the Desert models. The Satin Jack versions were out then as well. That link you posted has the CP Desert BA3 that I have, now I know its exact age! :) Thanks!!

Now which came first, not sure, but I want to remember the Anorexics came later.

I remember when the BAe was discontinued and the BA3 made its premier. I had one of the first ones with asymmetric edge once upon a time.

EDIT: I had one of those Jungle Defenders as well, nasty sharp little spike, I miss that one.

Notta problem at all my friend. :) Those days were so new and exciting I just soaked it all in. :D
Nifty thing about the DABA's, the spine was bead blasted, as was the grip area. Made for a really nice feel in hand.
