First time Sebenza owner!

My first Chris Reeve knife arrived today, a small classic sebenza with tamboti inlay. I'm working on a sore thumb, because I can't resist flipping it open.

Don't worry about that sore thumb. It gets better with time. I'm not sure if it's because your thumb toughens up or it's because you figure out how to open it with less pressure. One thing's for sure, you won't ever stop flipping it open.

BTW, this thread could really benefit from a picture. Tamboti inlay? Why, I'd like to see that ....

Congratulations on your first Sebe/sore thumb. You will become more proficient at flipping it open. Try using more of the side of your thumb as opposed to the meaty part of the thumb and put less pressure on the frame lock. You will get it.

Well, once you build up a good callus it won't hurt anymore. Think of it as breaking in your thumb!
