First time sharpening my Stretch in SuperBlue steel/420J1

I bought this knife back in March 2014. Since then, I have been touching up the edge on a strop and a ceramic stick. The other day, it felt, well, 'dull', so I brought out the Apex Pro sharpener. Started with a 600 grit stone, and moved to a 1000. Worked the edge on the Ceramic stick, then stropped it with green compound.
Back to being hair popping sharp.
This knife gets a lot of carry time, and I was impressed with it's edge holding ability.

I got a Stretch, Endura, and Delica in the SuperBlue. I've only carried the Delica and totally agree with you on the steel. I have a fair number of Spydercos and the SuperBlue gets the sharpest of any of them and holds a great edge. I'd like to see more knives made with it. Nice pic by the way!
