before stripper i sanded part of the blade and tested with vinegar

Citristrip? Interesting, is it available at the usual places, ACE, Home Depot, Lowes? I have a BK11 and a BK9 on the way that I'll be stripping.
 
Thanks guys pretty happy with the results. Monster I bought it at Walmart. No harsh fumes and it worked like a champ. Now I just need more knives to strip. -Leo
 
Thanks CS, the last strip gel I used was pretty harsh so the citristrip is on my shop list.
