I finally got to use my Khukuri(s) this weekend. I had some branches and tree limbs to remove. The smaller ones got the 15" Sirupati, the more obstinate the 18" AK...

My wife accused me of using them out of spite. She seems to think I never use my knives...:o

She pointed out a branch (about 1" thick) and asked if I could cut that down for her. I used the Sirupati and took it in one (determined to do it) swipe - then turned and asked if there was anything else she wanted...:D

I had fun!!! Those really do chop!!! Next weekend a couple of "weed" trees... :D

HI Glossary List

Weed : Any plant you can reach around with both arms and touch fingertips.

Good for you Bobby. Glad you were able to put them to good use. Now, go have some more fun and take pics for us.:)

And if they get larger than that, you have to put away your 12" AK and get out the big boys! :D
