First time with a hammer

I was going through my old photos again and I came across my forge firsts. Just to get the feel of the hammer (a custom made hammer I inherited from my grandfather, not ideal), I pounded these guys out from a length of vintage rebar.

I did my best to make as varied blade types as I could, but it is clearly a first time blacksmith attempt. I was able to sell these to a delightful elderly woman who wanted to keep me enthused.

Do any of you much more talented knife makers have photos of your earliest attempts at forging a blade? I would find it incredibly reassuring to amateurs like myself to see where others started at, from the best to the worst.

Hope I'm not starting too many threads for a new member - Sam

Here are The first three blades I forged in order from top to bottom, I definitely had a lot to learn about hammer control to not leave deep marks or cupping but overall really happy with them
