Well I am almost done with this one. I need to hand sand tomorow some more and treat with teak oil. It has teak oil now but I saw some scratches that I missed and need to fix it. The space under the guard was just the shape of the antler.:grumpy: It swells in the rear so there could be still be some bark showing. I think I should have gotten wider antlers, maybe then I could have not had such a bulge. Or is that how they end up sometimes? Next time I am going to try a stick tang. What do you think so far. Thanks for looking.

Very nice. The bark on the antler makes it look real and gives it a bit of grip. The ergonomics look very nice and the design is clean overall. Love the file work!

Phil, that is another thing I need to figure out. There is a 1/16" vein that shows up. I was just going to fill it it with glue and polish like any other handle material.

getting fancy there Pancho , looks real good and comfortable . Hope you wore your respirator working the bone , it is bad stuff .

Looks Good Frank. If you have a scrap piece of the antler left turn it to dust on a piece of sandpaper and then mix it in some epoxy and fill the vein,It should pretty much disappear.
