This is my first attempt at forced patina on my Ontario Knife Company Ranger RD Tanto. I think it turned out pretty damn good!
I had to strip the blacck coating off, then I sanded it and hit real good with some steel wool. Cleaned it with Acetone. To do the force patina, I just used brown mustard and blotted it on with a paper towel then wiped away a lot of it (where ever there mustard is the thinnest is where it turns darker). I let it set an hour then I washed it and dried it off real good.
